More about Megan
Megan is a Principal for N3D Group and serves as chief Mechanical Engineer. She has designed mechanical systems for commercial, educational, and industrial facilities for over 14 years. Megan’s past projects have included specialized systems such as energy recovery systems, kitchen and laboratory exhaust systems, welding dust collection systems, automotive exhaust collection systems, VAV systems, geothermal/WSHP systems, and boiler/chiller systems. She also provides general support in performing product selections, code submissions, specification writing/editing, life cycle cost comparisons, and energy modeling.
In addition to her design duties, Megan is responsible for contract administration before and during project construction. She is responsible for field observations, shop drawing review, and preparation of progress meeting documents. She also has experience with project management and building operation support.
Megan grew up in Versailles, Kentucky and moved to Lexington after graduating from the University of Kentucky. She is married to Jonathan, a civil engineer, and they have two daughters Ava and Savannah. Megan has always enjoyed competing and training horses in her spare time.
