John A. Newman
John Newman has worked as an electrical, mechanical, and fire protection engineer on a diverse amount of projects for over 30 years. His experience includes new and renovation projects of 94 community college and technical school projects, 26 University Projects, 40 Military Projects, 53 Municipal projects, and over 125 educational projects from Primary to High Schools.
Megan F. Nieman
Megan is a Principal for N3D Group
and serves as chief Mechanical Engineer. She has designed mechanical systems for commercial, educational, and industrial facilities for over 17 years. Her past projects include specialized systems such as energy recovery, kitchen/laboratory exhaust systems, welding dust and automotive exhaust collection systems, VAV systems, geothermal/WSHP systems, and boiler/chiller systems.

David D. Daukas
David serves as a Principal for N3D Group as well as the firms’ electrical and lighting designer. He specializes in building, sports, theatrical and dimming lighting systems. David also plays an instrumental role for providing lighting coordination with interior designers and visualization artists by providing the benefits of photometric and rendering software to achieve efficient lighting levels.

ABOUT
N3D Group was founded in 2013 by Mechanical, Electrical, and Fire Protection professional engineers that wanted to bring their expertise to multiple clients. The Principals founding N3D Group have many years of experience designing projects for; Elementary, Middle, and High Schools (P-12), State Agencies, Universities, Commercial, Industrial, Military, Municipalities, and Government Services Administration (GSA) Design Build. We want to use this knowledge and provide a firm that focuses on the long term needs of the Building, Systems, and Owner. We are comfortable in designing small to very large projects, either renovation or new construction, with any type of delivery method.
N3D Group is located in Lexington, KY and we are comfortable working anywhere in KY and surrounding states. We have professional engineering licenses in multiple states because we service national retail clients.
N3D uses the latest building modeling software to help in life cycle selection of various systems and equipment. We focus on a strong involvement during construction phase of projects by providing quick turnaround of submittals and field reports. N3D wants to be your first choice MEP consulting engineering design firm.
